« on: June 08, 2010, 10:12:26 am »
Hi, I'm a lectuer at a university and ive been given a tablet PC with windows 7 installed on it, I was wondering if I could use 3DNA effectively on a 10" screen without a mouse or keyboard.. (although ther eis a virtual mouse).

Hi Sophie,

Thanks for your interest in 3DNA. I do not have access to a tablet PC (10" screen) with windows 7. Your said the unit is "without a mouse or keyboard."  I am just wondering if there is any way to type in characters? I assume there must (at least) be a virtual keyboard to interact with it. If that's the case, then there are should be no problem in running 3DNA. You could have a try of the MinGW or Cygwin version.

Please let us know how it goes.

Xiang-Jun

Thanks for getting back to me  :D

The reason why I asked is because the screen has a max resultion of 1024 x 700 so if the software uses a greater res than that then it will not work on the tablet pc,

But it does have a virtual keyboard and good touch functionality so I'm covered in that department  :P

Will get on with the installation later when I have some free time.
