HI! Xiangjun:
I downloaded and unzipped 3DNA in Linux version. I went to /X3DNA/bin/ and run x3dna_setup, it gave me error message
feixu@homestar:~/X3DNA/bin$ x3dna_setup
x3dna_setup: command not found
I checked the mode of the directories. They are executable.
feixu@homestar:~/X3DNA$ ls -l
total 24
drwx------ 2 feixu feixu 4096 2008-08-06 18:56 bin
drwx------ 5 feixu feixu 4096 2008-08-06 18:56 config
drwx------ 2 feixu feixu 4096 2008-10-14 01:39 doc
drwx------ 7 feixu feixu 4096 2008-08-06 18:20 examples

drwx------ 9 feixu feixu 4096 2008-08-06 18:20 NP_Recipes
And the OS system is UBUNTU 11.04
Could you please think of the solution?
Thanks a lot!

Try "[mono:4e0k1qpw][red:4e0k1qpw]./x3dna_setup[/red:4e0k1qpw][/mono:4e0k1qpw]". It appears that you do not have "[mono:4e0k1qpw]./[/mono:4e0k1qpw]" (your current directory) in your command search path.

Hi Xiang-Jun Lu,
in your forum I saw a problem with setup script for X3DNA.
"Error Running X3DNA_setup script
by corgan » Mon Feb 01, 2010 3:50 pm
Hello,
I am trying to install 3DNA on my Windows XP machine. I downloaded the Cygwin binary and followed the instructions... when I get to the intruction that says type "x3dna_setup" nothing happens. I then try to run it as a perl script and I get the following error messag:
"C:Documents and SettingsusernameDesktopX3DNAbin>perl.exe x3dna_setup
Use of uninitialized value $_[0] in substitution (s///) at C:/Perl/lib/File/Base
name.pm line 338.
fileparse(): need a valid pathname at x3dna_setup line 13"
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

# I added the next lines to my .bashrc
export SHELL="/bin/bash"
export X3DNA=/home/lira/x3dna
export PATH=/home/lira/x3dna/bin:$PATH
/lira # is my directory and
/x3dna # directory where is allocated the program
running under Cygwin
It works.
Bye.
